Customer Service Representative

We are currently looking for a CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE in our Pittsburgh, PA office because of our continued growth.  The position will work closely with the Residential Operations Manager on new and existing accounts in the Residential market. The selected candidate will be the first point of contact for all service, technician assignments and sales request.  The candidate must be a hands-on, self-motivated, outgoing and dependable individual with the drive to succeed in a challenging and fast-paced environment.


  • Effectively use the telephone to present a quality oriented image where every customer is treated in a consistent, courteous, and efficient manner.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customer base.
  • Dispatches timely and efficient customer installation and trouble service assignments.
  • Ensures daily routes meet drive time, on-time, productivity, and skill set goals.
  • Knowledgeable attitude will facilitate the operational effectiveness of our service fleet.
  • Ensures all computer/billing information is accurate and up to date.
  • Assist in the supervision and implementation of the Department’s scheduling processes in both Sales and Operations.
  • Provide assistance to the Operations Manager.
  • Customer follow-up and Customer Retention.

  • General familiarity with the Pittsburgh area (distances/highways/etc.)
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office:  Word, Outlook, and Excel).
  • Ability to multi-task, superior organizational skills, and detail oriented.
  • Engaging and pleasant phone presence and radio/dispatch presence.
  • Commitment to quality service.
  • Team player attitude.



  • Associates degree in Business or Marketing, or equivalent related experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience.


  • Degree from a 4 year college or university.
  • Mechanical contractor or related industry experience.
